The Pekan International Education Conference (PIEC) 2015 is
organised by the Pekan UMNO Education Bureau in collaboration with the Pekan District
Education Office (PPD Pekan) and The International College of Automotive (ICAM)
Pekan. The theme of the conference is Transforming Minds: Nurturing Global Players.
The conference is timely and in line with the vision and motto
of PPD Pekan which is “PEKAN NUMBER 1”. PPD Pekan aspires to champion the
District Transformation Programme (DTP) which was launched to mobilise all
district education offices to realise the government’s agenda under the Malaysia
Education Blueprint 2013 – 2025 (PPPM).
The main aim of PIEC 2015 is to provide a platform for local and international educationists to share best
practices and ideas related to teaching and learning in the 21st
Century. It is hoped that the platform provided will be a launching pad to
further inspire teachers to become better educators.
