PEKAN INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE (PIEC) 2015
The Pekan International Education
Conference (PIEC) 2015 is organised by the Pekan UMNO Education Bureau in
collaboration with the Pekan District Education Office (PPD Pekan) and The
International College of Automotive (ICAM) Pekan. The theme of the conference
is Transforming Minds : Nurturing Global Players. The
date for the conference is 28th – 30th AUGUST
2015 (Friday - Sunday).
The conference is timely and in line with
the vision and motto of PPD Pekan which is “PEKAN NUMBER 1”. PPD Pekan aspires
to champion the District Transformation Programme (DTP) which was launched to
mobilise all district education offices to realise the government’s agenda
under the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013 – 2025 (PPPM).
AIM
The main aim of PIEC 2015 is to provide a platform for local and international educationists to share best practices and ideas related to teaching and learning in the 21st Century. It is hoped that the platform provided will be a launching pad to further inspire teachers to become better educators.
OBJECTIVES

To provide
the Pekan UMNO Education Bureau the opportunity to realise the aspirations of
the PPPM as part of their social responsibility.

To share
best practices on current teaching and learning processes.
|

To obtain
the latest information on 21st Century Classroom Practices
and other current issues.

|
To share
the challenges and successes experienced by Malaysian educators under the
Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013 – 2025 and the DTP.

encourage the participation of the community in education.

towering personalities.
